Intro

I added romaji to Japanese (kanji & hiragana) tables of the prefectures and their cities/towns/villages, which may be affected by the 'rolling' blackouts by Tokyo Electric and Tohoku Electric following the Great Earthquake of Tohoku-Kanto (11 March 2011), as I noticed that most available online lists of the 'groups' were either only in Japanese or only in romaji, but few (none?) had both in the same place.

I hope these lists may help anyone who can't read/write Japanese but just needs a place name in kanji to copy/paste a city/town/etc. into a search engine.

Some notes:
* The romanization of the names follows what seems to be the most typical use by cities, but there's no guarantee that what I provide here matches the official romaji name.

* In cases of long vowels, I've omitted adding 'h' or the additional vowel in romaji or the elongating '-' symbol on top of the letter (sorry, that's clear as mud but hopefully you know what I mean...) E.g., "Tokyo" instead of "Toukyou"/"Tohkyoh", etc.

* The '-gun'/'-shi'/'-machi'/'-cho' indicate the administrative level. For details on the administrative divisions of Japan, please see Wikipedia: Prefectures of Japan.

If there are any typos/errors, please leave a comment and I'll fix it.

The original tables are from ちょっと便利帳 ("Chotto Benri-cho"), including the links that are in the tables. I deleted some columns and added the 'romaji' column. I hope this is ok, but please let me know if I'm infringing on any copyrights!!!
